Meditation in Movement

exploring balance in our lives.


Whether we are looking to balance physically, emotionally, or mentally, balance is a learned skill: If we challenge our balance, it improves: if we don’t it tends to deteriorate.

Whilst standing on one leg making sure you don’t fall, there is no room for unnecessary thoughts, leaving space for stillness. Becoming aware of the importance of balance through sensations and experience, we feel more stable and grounded and better equipped to deal with the fluctuations of life.

What we will cover:


Over the eight weeks we will build on a series of simple movements which can all be integrated into your daily life. Each class will include:

- Asana (simple postures) to help restore balance in our physical body


- Pranayama (simple breath awareness) When the breath wanders the mind is unsteady, therefore bringing balance to the breath brings stillness in the mind

- Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) a form of guided meditation which can help in the practice of ‘letting go’,
